I am excited to learn that the hotel that my grandparents lived in for 40 years (Warren and Faye Clements) is being turned into a bed and breakfast. I will definitely want to visit when it is up and running. I have just been going through pictures of the place and decided to "google" it to see if anything was out there and to my amazement, this site.
Congratulations on revitalizing the old hotel. I'm a grandson on one of the early "Russell boys" -- Elmer, aka ER, from Matador, son of John J (JJ). My mom Adele Russell was born on the family ranch there in 1912. Will definitely drop in for a visit when next in the area. Am an active genealogist, so heartily welcome all info on the family.
